Continuem is not certified under HIPAA and does not provide a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). US-based practitioners who are covered entities under HIPAA should seek independent legal advice before using the platform.

Questions answered

Is there a free trial?
Yes — both plans start with a 30-day free trial. No credit card required. Full access from day one, and if you subscribe during the trial you're not charged until it ends.
What happens when I reach 50 clients on Solo?
Only your active clients count. When you finish working with someone, archive them in one click: their records are kept, they can still sign in to listen to the recordings you gave them, and their place is free for your next client. You can reactivate them any time. If you regularly work with more than 50 people at once, Practice is unlimited.
Can I cancel anytime?
Absolutely. Cancel from your billing settings at any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
Do my clients need to pay anything?
No. Your clients access the portal for free as part of your subscription.
Can a client book and pay securely?
Yes. Clients book directly through your branded portal and pay securely via Stripe. You set the session price and packages — all transactions are encrypted, and clients never leave your branded experience.
Does it work with Google Calendar?
Yes. Connect your Google account in Settings and every confirmed booking appears in a separate "Continuem bookings" calendar, shown alongside your own in its own colour. Cancelled bookings are removed automatically. Continuem can only see that one calendar, never your personal events. Clients also get a calendar file with every booking confirmation, so they can add the session to whatever calendar they use.
Is client data secure?
Yes. Continuem is GDPR compliant and ICO registered. Client data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS). Only you and your clients can access your practice data — nothing is shared with third parties or used for any marketing purpose.
Is Continuem HIPAA compliant?
Continuem follows security practices aligned with HIPAA principles: client data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS), access is strictly account-controlled, and client information is never shared with third parties. It is not independently certified as HIPAA compliant and is not a medical-records platform. HIPAA applies to covered entities in the US healthcare system. If you are a US-based practitioner with obligations under HIPAA, you remain responsible for ensuring your use of any platform meets your specific legal requirements.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on both plans. Your client portal can use an address on your own domain, such as portal.yourpractice.co.uk, so clients see your name, not ours, in the address bar, in their emails and on the app on their phone. You add one record where you bought your domain, with step-by-step guides for the common domain companies built in, and the security certificate is set up for you. Your website and email aren't affected. Until you set it up, your portal works at continuem.app/p/yourpractice.
